THE ALTERNATIVE TO Trace

Trace is excellent at automatic per-player video with a camera and pucks. TeamxBoost gives per-player development feedback without a camera, and brings the whole club into one place — approaches many clubs end up using together.

Per-player videoAlternative

WHAT Trace DOES WELL.

Trace is very good at automatic per-player video: the camera records the game and, with the tracking pucks, edits each athlete's highlights on its own — great for recruiting reels and for the player to review their game. For clubs that want individual video, it is a strong solution. TeamxBoost solves something else — per-player development diagnosis and whole-club operations, without a camera — so they complement each other well.

THE TABLE, NO SPIN.

The rows where we are strong and the rows where we are not yet — both are here. Where a capability is under way it says "coming soon"; where it does not exist, there is a dash.

Three arguments

WHY THIS IS ANOTHER CATEGORY.

01

Diagnosis, not just statistics

The coach answers structured questions in minutes after the session and the AI prepares the feedback across the 6 real categories — technique, game understanding, in-game application, attitude, autonomy and progression, on a 0–10 scale. The AI suggests what to work on next; the coach decides.

02

One system, not a stack

Squad, call-ups, Match Mode, training, communication, finance, medical module and scouting in the same system, with role-based access. One plan covers the whole club, every age group — no modules sold separately.

03

No camera, no GPS, no uploads

There is no mandatory hardware, no vests to put on and no video to tag. Per-player feedback and the monthly report are generated from what the coach records — which is what makes them sustainable week after week, youth teams included.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What is Trace good at?

Trace is very good at automatic per-player video: the camera records the game and, with the tracking pucks, edits each athlete's highlights on its own — great for recruiting reels and for the player to review their game. For clubs that want individual video, it is a strong solution. TeamxBoost solves something else — per-player development diagnosis and whole-club operations, without a camera — so they complement each other well.

Do we need cameras, vests or sensors?

No. Training and matches are entered in minutes after the session; the AI generates per-player feedback with no capture — no camera, no vest, no video to upload.

How is it different from a management app?

A good management app organizes stats and gives the coach the space to write their own evaluation. TeamxBoost adds an AI layer on top: we tell you what to fix next, per player, automatically — and the whole club runs on one platform.

Is per-player highlights the same as development?

They are different things and both useful. The per-player highlight, which Trace does very well, shows the best moments on video. TeamxBoost's development diagnosis tells the next step — which decision to train next, per player, across the 6 game categories, with a monthly report the family sees. Many clubs value having both reads.

Do I need a camera and pucks like Trace?

In TeamxBoost, no. Trace's model is built on the camera and the tracking pucks, and is very good at it; TeamxBoost takes a different path and needs no camera, pucks or vests. Per-player development feedback is generated from what the coach records in minutes after the session.

GDPR & minors’ data

The athletes are children. We treat the data accordingly.

Guardians, consent and role-based access are not a footnote: they are the first thing we built. The doctor sees the medical layer. The coach sees training. Guardians see their child’s report — and nothing else.
